Who We Are

Fadora Champions Initiative for Advocacy and Social Impact is a women-led non-profit organization committed to advancing the dignity, wellbeing, empowerment, and inclusion of women, girls, and vulnerable communities through advocacy, education, and community-driven interventions. Founded with a passion for creating meaningful social change, Fadora Champions Initiative works at the intersection of menstrual health advocacy, gender equality, women and girls’ empowerment, community development, and social impact. We believe that every girl and woman deserves access to accurate health information, safe spaces, quality education, dignity, and opportunities to thrive regardless of their background or circumstances. Through our programs and advocacy efforts, we address critical issues affecting underserved communities, including:.

  • Menstrual health and hygiene education
  • Period poverty and stigma.
  • Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness and prevention.
  • Women and girls’ empowerment.
  • Maternal and reproductive health awareness.
  • Safe spaces and WASH advocacy in schools.
  • Disability inclusion and community participation.
  • Climate change awareness and sensitization.
  • Humanitarian and community support initiatives.

At Fadora Champions Initiative, we are driven by compassion, collaboration, and impact. We work with schools, communities, stakeholders, partners, volunteers, and advocates to create sustainable solutions that empower individuals and strengthen communities. Our vision is to build a more inclusive, informed, empowered, and period-friendly world where women and girls can live with dignity, confidence, safety, and equal opportunity.

Why This Matters

Across many underserved communities, millions of girls and women still face challenges that affect their health, education, confidence, safety, and overall wellbeing. Period poverty, limited access to menstrual health education, stigma, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), unsafe environments, poor hygiene facilities, and lack of support systems continue to prevent many from reaching their full potential. For many girls, something as natural as menstruation can become a barrier to education, participation, confidence, and dignity. At Fadora Champions Initiative, we believe that no girl should miss school because of her period, feel ashamed of her body, or lack access to the support and information she needs to thrive.

This is why our work matters. Through advocacy, education, outreach, and community-driven interventions, we are creating safer spaces, increasing awareness, supporting vulnerable communities, and empowering women and girls with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to live healthier and more empowered lives. We are not just responding to problems — we are building a movement for dignity, inclusion, equality, and lasting social impact. Because when women and girls are empowered, entire communities are transformed.

Our Impact

At Fadora Champions Initiative, we are committed to creating meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of women, girls, children, and underserved communities through advocacy, education, empowerment, and community engagement.

Through our programs and outreach initiatives, we have:

  • Reached girls and women with menstrual health education and sensitization.
  • Supported underserved communities with sanitary and hygiene products.
  • Created awareness on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), gender justice, reproductive health, and women’s wellbeing.
  • Promoted maternal and child health awareness through community education and advocacy.
  • Advocated for improved Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities and safer hygiene spaces in schools and communities.
  • Engaged schools and communities in conversations around menstrual dignity, stigma reduction, and girls’ wellbeing.
  • Promoted disability inclusion and equitable participation in community programs and advocacy initiatives.
  • Raised awareness on climate justice, environmental sustainability, and community responsibility.
  • Empowered girls and young women through mentorship, leadership, and advocacy programs.
  • Supported vulnerable individuals and families through humanitarian outreach initiatives including educational support, food, clothing, and community assistance.
  • Built partnerships and collaborative networks focused on advancing social impact, inclusion, and community development.
  • Expanded advocacy conversations across Nigeria and beyond through cross-country collaborations and campaigns.

Our impact goes beyond numbers.

It is reflected in the confidence of a girl who no longer feels ashamed of her period, the wellbeing of mothers and children reached through our advocacy, the inclusion of vulnerable voices in community conversations, and the communities becoming more informed, equitable, and supportive. Every outreach, every conversation, and every life reached brings us closer to building a more dignified, inclusive, just, and period-friendly world.
